KISSIMMEE, Fla. (AP) -- Country music star Jason Aldean has realized his dream of working out with his favorite baseball team, the Atlanta Braves.
Aldean practiced with the Braves for two hours Thursday, trailed by a film crew taping a segment for the GAC reality show "Day Jobs."
Normally, the cable show follows artists as they return to jobs they held before becoming famous. Aldean had no desire to go back to delivering soft drinks, but he persuaded the producers to let him pursue his dream job: a day with the Braves.
Wearing uniform No. 9, he participated in all the drills -- fielding grounders at first base, taking swings in the cage, and finishing up with some base-running.
Aldean was born and raised in Macon, Ga., about 75 miles south of Atlanta.
