BANSKO, Bulgaria (AP) -- Lindsey Vonn captured a super-G Sunday for her 10th World Cup victory this season, becoming the career leader in the discipline and strengthening her lead in the super-G standings.
The American won in 1 minute, 15.66 seconds on the Marc Girardelli course. Tina Weirather of Liechtenstein was 0.05 seconds behind and Daniela Merighetti of Italy was third, 0.07 seconds back. Julia Mancuso of the U.S. was eighth.
Vonn now has 18 super-G victories, overtaking Austria's Renate Goetschl for the record. Vonn also won the super-G in Bansko three years ago.
She increased her World Cup victory total to 51. Vonn leads Anna Fenninger by 94 points in the super-G standings going into the World Cup finals.
