MARANA, Ariz. (AP) -- A glance Saturday at the World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship:
Match of the day: Rory McIlroy beat Bae Sang-moon 3 and 2. McIlroy took the lead with a birdie on the par-5 11th, won the par-5 13th with a conceded birdie and took a 3-up lead with a birdie on the par-4 15th.
Semifinal pairings: McIlroy vs. Lee Westwood, Hunter Mahan vs. Mark Wilson.
No. 1 at stake: McIlroy and Westwood can take the spot in the world from Luke Donald with a victory in the championship match.
Shot of the day: Mahan holed a 20-foot birdie putt on the par-4 ninth to take a 5-up lead in his 6-and-5 victory over Matt Kuchar.
Key stat: The Mahan-Wilson semifinal guarantees there will be an American in the championship match for the first time since 2008.
