MANCHESTER, England (AP) -- Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez is back in the northern England city three months after taking unauthorized leave in his native Argentina amid a dispute with the Premier League leaders.
Tevez flew in from Argentina on Tuesday in a bid to end the long-running feud and resume his City career.
Having previously tried to leave City, Tevez's battle with the club intensified in September when he refused to warm up in a Champions League match at Bayern Munich.
But after failing to seal a move away from City in the January transfer window, Tevez will first have to undergo fitness tests before trying to settle his differences with the club.
Tevez has lost about $15 million in fines or lost earnings in the past year.
