Blagojevich off plane in Denver, headed for prison

CHICAGO (AP) -- Illinois' convicted ex-Gov. Rod Blagojevich had stepped of a plane in Colorado and his headed to a prison outside Denver to begin his 14-year prison term on corruption charges.

He must report to the prison 2 p.m. Thursday.

Jurors convicted Blagojevich on 18 counts, including charges that he tried to sell or trade President Barack Obama's old U.S. Senate seat.

He will be the state's second former governor currently in federal prison.
